I love the sunsets here in Hawaii. There is nothing like them. The warmth of these sandy tones together call sunset forth.
Here are a couple of really special things about this set. First, you can practically taste the salt on this shell! It looks like it took a morning dip and sat in the sun all day. The other thing is: Orange sea glass. Orange!?! Oh my. Yes.
Orange sea glass is classified as the rarest; only 1:10,000 pieces are orange. You can imagine my delight at finding this little gem, which I decided to showcase by turning into a choker that nestles at the lovely spot where clavicle and sternum meet. This happens to be the throat chakra, and since orange is aligned with creativity, may this infuse your voice so.
I love, too, how both orange & shell are sun-bleached. Notice the subtle ombre occurring in the orange glass; the Sun changes the chemicals used to color the glass, oft bringing a color forward or changing it totally.
Delicate hand wrapped findings, which I find are not only stronger than a typical jump ring but also more polished.
